The next ‘fun in the sun’ GUS meeting is going to be in the Bandstand at the Noorderplantzoen in Groningen on sunday the 26th of september.

We’ll be starting at 2pm – our ukes unpacked n’ tuned, with smiles on our faces and love in our hearts, playing them there songs in that good ole ukulele way.

We will be keeping a 2 meter spacing, but we’ll be playing them ukes and singing our hearts out, spreading ukulele love and happiness.

Bring you uke, drag along a friend, grab your songbooks, pack yer picnic and come on down to the ukiest place in town!

Well folks, it’s been a while, but it seems we are getting past that there corona crisis and it’s time to grab those ukes, give ’em a polish and a tune, grab them there GUS books, pop in the shower and practice your singing,

On the sunday the 4th of july 2021 at 14:00 (2 pm) we will be having our first meeting of 2021!!!

It’ s going to be held outdoors in the sunny and beautiful rose garden in the Pioenpark (Pioenstraat, 9713RR), the same location as our outdoor meetings in the calmer moments of 2020.

We will be keeping our 1 meter 50 spacing, but we’ll be playing them ukes and singing our hearts out, spreading ukulele love and happiness.

In these difficult times of restrictions and lockdowns we have moved our meetings from tuesday evening to sunday afternoons outdoors in the beautiful Pioenpark in Groningen.

The next meeting is on the 27th of september from 15:00 to 17:00

As always, the GUS meetings are open and free and for everybody. From Uke beginners to superstar wannabees. Everybody is welcome t come along and join in the fun in the sun on our new Ukulele Sundays.

So, come on down to Groningen town and uke up your life with the funkiest and most fun uke club around

During the Corona crisis days we are holding ‘summer session meetings’ outdoors. (with the 1 meter 50 rule!)

We tried a meeting two weeks ago in the beautuful rose-garden of the Pioenpark hwere in Groningen and it went very well. We had lots of fun singing and playing GUS songs and seeing our ukulele friend for the first time in a while. Park visitors loved it and so did we.

Therefore, we will be holding our next GUS meeting in the rose-garden of the Pioenpark, Groningen (9713 RR Groningen) on SUNDAY the 5th of july from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock. (unless there is rain)

Brng your uke and tuner, a music stand (if you have one) and your GUS books and lets get this show on the go!!

Of course, as always, our GUS meeting are free and everybody is welcome to come along and have a go.
