We were there, on the streets, adding fun and ukulele cheer on a cold april afternoon amongst the crowds. Playing our classics on our little instruments for the people. I apologise to the folks who told us their faces hurt from smiling – but – that’s the power of Uke !!

We injected a bit of fun and a lot of smiles to the Grijpskerk Plantjes Markt (plantmarket) in april.

The GUS playing the Hartwerk Festival Groningen 28 march
The GUS will be performing at the Hartwerk Festival, Groningen, celebrating the reopening of Floresstraat next weekend (28 march).
We’ll be on stage at 15:30 opening the show with our little ukuleles in our hands. Why not pop along and enjoy the fun with us.

GUS in Bremen
A while ago we were invited to participate in our sister club and very good friends the ‘Bremen Ukulele Orchestra’ (1. Bremer Ukulelenorchester) New Year concert and play a few tunes. It’s been a while since we where together, since the ‘corona-times’ in fact.. and it was wonderful to get together with them again after so long. Very big thanks to Jean and the BUO for letting us borrow their wonderful bass player Stefan and looking after us so well.
