What fun.

Back in the beautuful Lola celebrating xmas the ‘ukulele way’ with the GUS and friends.

In a crowded hall deep in the heart of Groningen, ukulele folk from the Netherlands and Germany came together to uke up the night.

And what a  wonderful night of music and friendship it was.  Kicked off with a performance from the GUS Band to wake up the crowd and get the ukulele train a’rollin.

A special treat this year with the wonderful – Professor Peter – wooing us with his performance of 20’s and 30’s classics, great stuff.

And of course a  ‘surprise’ mini concert from the Coconut Knakkers.

Singalongs and  great open podium acts filling the spaces and adding to the fun.

I think we might keep this GUS thing going !!!
